Summary of Duties:
Prepares and provides nutritious meals for residents while maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive dining environment. Supports the overall well-being of youth by contributing to a structured and healthy daily routine.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations; familiarity with federal child nutrition programs preferred or willingness to learn.
Experience in food service, preferably in a group or institutional setting.
Ability to maintain records, follow menus, and manage inventory.
Ability to adapt to the needs of a youth care environment.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical kitchen tasks.

Plan and follow menus while managing food preparation, purchasing, and inventory of supplies.

Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with staff to support resident needs and contribute to a positive, structured environment.
